In order to truly understand the artist's breadth of work, you will begin your tour at Casa Buonarroti, where you will admire several important early works of the artist, including the "Madonna of The Stairs" and the "Battle of the Centaurs".

Next you will get a sense of the biographic and artistic history of the artist as you arrive at Via Ghibellina, no. 70, which was built by his great nephew, Michelangelo di Giovane, before you head to the Galleria dell'Accademia.

Upon reaching the Galleria dell'Accademia, you will head toward the Galleria dei Prigioni, a corridor that houses the famed La Pieta di Palestrina, and San Matteo. Reaching the end of the hall, standing at the very center, is the Accademia's cult statue, Michelangelo's David. Lastly, you will discover the architectural works of Michelangelo that defied the conventions of his time: the magnificent New Sacristy of the Medici Chapel, The Grand Staircase and the revolutionary Vestibule of the Biblioteca Laurenziana (Library).
