Your tour will follow in the footsteps of the famous renaissance artist, Piero della Francesca, beginning with your arrival in Arezzo, where you will discover some of the works of this sublime painter.

In Arezzo you can admire the "Leggenda della Vera Croce," the most representative of his works of art, and the Cathedral, where you will see the splendid "Maddalena" fresco.

From here it is a short distance to Monterchi, where the famous "Madonna del Parto" is housed.

But no tour of Piero della Francesca's works is complete without having seen his birthplace in Sansepolcro. The village was always at the center of his life and today conserves some of his masterpieces in the Pinoteca (art gallery), such as "Madonna della Misericordia," "San Giuliano", the fresco with "San Ludovico", and the "Resurrezione".

All of our day trips are available as individual trips, which can be enjoyed on their own or as an addition to one of our sample itineraries. All you have to do is talk with one of our tour staff: Call 1-800-848-8163
