On this day trip you will be introduced to the culture of Castentino, with a focus on the important role of the area's gastronomic specialties through visits of some of the valley's most characteristic spots.

During the first half of your tour, you will be accompanied by our expert guides as you visit three towns in the region, including Raggiolo and Quota, where you will be able to taste culinary specialties and learn of their origins. Your visit of the characteristic towns will remind you of an ancient agrarian way of life which today is rapidly disappearing. 

You will conclude your tour with a visit of the "Castagna Ecomuseo" (ecological museum focusing on the chestnut), which will help you understand the importance that the chestnut has had in this area for centuries. Lastly, at the ancient San Niccoló Castle you will visit the Ecomuseo dedicated to the life of the area.
